Booking Policy

Your booking with us will not be confirmed until we receive your completed booking form and 50% deposit. Once received we will contact you with confirmation. 

The outstanding balance will be payable 4 weeks before your chosen dates. 

You may also chose to pay in full at the the time your booking is made. 

For bookings made within 4 weeks of your chosen dates, payment in full will be required when your booking is made and before it is confirmed. 

Prices may be subject to differ to those shown on the website as a result of large travel distances for the guides and if applicable, accommodation costs. 

 

Cancellation Policy

Once your booking has been confirmed and your deposit payed, the follow cancellation policy applies:

  • In the event that Rock & A Hight Place has to cancel the booking, a full refund will be made or an alternate date offered, whichever the client prefers. 

  • In the event of the booking being canceled by the client, Rock & A High Place will reimburse the client in the following ways:

    • Cancellation by the client more than 8 weeks prior to the start date - Full refund.

    • Cancellation by the client up to 8 weeks prior to the start date - 50% refund (deposit kept).

    • Cancellation by the client within 4 weeks of the start date - No refund.

  • In the event of adverse weather conditions, Rock & A High Place may chose to cancel the planned activities on safety grounds and will offer alternative dates. 

BMC Participation Statement 

The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
